The Trimester Exhibition is a chance to show off everything you’ve accomplished during Major Project:
You can invite whoever you like – mum, dad, friends, partners and industry colleagues
There is some food provided – no booze on campus
It’s a chance to see what everyone else has been working on while you’ve been working on your project
It’s a chance to get some great installation photos of people interacting with your work, you can use them later for promotional items like your portfolio or website.
We need:
A synopsis
A promotional image or images
An updated list of all CIU330 students involved in the project.
This is to make:
A one page information panel to be placed near or next to your work (image, synopsis etc)
An entry on your project on the website
A catalogue of all projects including name and room location to be given to guests on the night (small image, reduced synopsis, room number)
Posters around Campus prior to the event to promote exhibition
Film and Animation have a programmed screening in the theatre – how many times we show each depends on the total run time
Design set up their work on trestle tables & the walls with optional computers on them – most people have a web component to their work so you will need a monitor to display that. Design can generally exhibit on level 1 in the breakout space and level 2 in the library
Games generally exhibit anywhere there are PC's. This generally means levels 1 and 2.
Audio has their pick of all the major studios, you may have to share studios if there are a number of students who require the room. We will decide on who is in which studio in class.
The campus is all yours to play with - some of the most exciting works have included behind the scenes information, props and larger scale installations. For some inspiration:
