HOMESTEAD LIVE
Homestead Live was created in 2019 to offer live video streaming on our YouTube channel. This program grew tremendously once the pandemic hit, leading us to video broadcast many more events than we've previously tried before. Students learn all the skills within a typical professional broadcast, including on-air commentating, camera operating and producing. You can catch our next live event and all of our archived events on our YouTube Channel below.
HHS IN DEPTH
HHS In Depth plays every Friday during the school year and was developed in 2013-14 as a way to inform the students and staff of Homestead High School news of that current week. Over the last few years the class has included more community driven news stories and has expanded their coverage to more than just Homestead High School. Students learn all the skills needed to be a news anchor, reporter and story creator. You can catch all of our archived shows on our YouTube Channel below.
