LINQ Connect Upgrade

We’re excited to inform you that our meal (and/or school fees) payments portal, TITAN Family Portal, has upgraded to LINQ Connect. An Interactive Dashboard allows families to view all of their students in one profile. Plus, we improved the user interface for better accessibility and an easy log-in experience. There’s no need to change your username and password, all your information has already been transferred to the new app.

The app features allow parents to:

Visit your app store and find “LINQ Connect” available in the Google Play Store now and the Apple store available soon to download the new app and enjoy these new features. You will be able to log in with your existing username and password. If you use a browser, visit LINQConnect.com to log in. If you don’t use our online meal (and/or school fees) payments portal, LINQ Connect allows you to set up one-time or recurring payments for your student’s meal.

Reminder to the Class of 2023

Outgoing Seniors: After June 30th, you will lose access to your SACS email and your HHS Google Suite. Transfer anything you want to keep to your personal email and your personal Google Drive. The district technology office needs to clear data space for the incoming students, so they must delete all of your stored data. It will be impossible to retrieve anything left in your accounts after June 30th.

Returning Heritage Class for the 2023-24 School Year

In the upcoming school year of 2023-24, the World Language department at Homestead will be bringing back the Heritage class! The Heritage class will be for any students who already speak Spanish. Those students may include those who speak Spanish at home with their families, or just simply those who are of Latin-American heritage. All students are required to take a foreign language class at Homestead, and this is a great opportunity for those students who already speak Spanish to further their language ability.  Oftentimes, students enroll in Spanish, even though they are already able to communicate in the language. The Heritage class is an amazing opportunity for students to discuss their heritage and culture with others like them here at Homestead. Recently, when the Heritage class wasn't offered due to low numbers the Latinos Unidos club offered a chance for Latino students to socialize and remain connected. The return of the Heritage class demonstrates the need for Spanish Heritage speakers to further their language skills and also demonstrates Homestead's support for the growing Latin-American community within Southwest Allen County.
