Prom 2023
Prom will be at the Grand Wayne Center from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, April 29. Tickets will go on sale during all lunches starting Wednesday, April 12. Tickets will be $30 from April 12 through April 21, and then increase to $35 the week of April 24. Tickets will be $40 at the door on the night of prom. This year’s theme is An Evening on the Red Carpet. Prom is for juniors and seniors only, but sophomores and freshman may come if they are the guest of a Homestead junior or senior.

Students will be allowed to bring guests from outside Homestead to prom if they would like. For those who want to bring guests, there is additional paperwork that needs to be filled out. The necessary paperwork can be found in the Discipline Office and is also attached here. It must be returned in person to the Discipline Office no later than 3 pm on Friday, April 14, 2023. No late copies will be accepted.

Spring Arts Week
Spring Arts Week will take place April 24-26th in the new Freshman Academy Community Room 909 (old weight room). The doors to the gallery will also be open during Coffee House which will be hosted by the National Honors Society from 6:00-8:30 pm on April 26th. Parents and guests are welcome to tour the gallery on April 26 during the Coffee House hours to see the fine work created by students at Homestead throughout the year!
Digital Art Local Showcase
Spartan Visual Arts would like to announce that our Advanced Photography and Advanced Photo Digital students will have work on display at the Firefly Coffee House, 3523 N Anthony Blvd, all throughout the month of April. Students have been working hard to create amazing photos to share their talents with the city! Everyone is invited to have a cup of coffee or a nice treat and see the work of our advanced students.

8th Grade Open House
With the 2023-24 school year quickly approaching, Homestead invites current 8th graders and their parents to attend the 8th Grade Open House on April 12th from 6-8 pm. Students and their parents will learn more about Homestead's academics and extracurriculars as well as tour the building with current Homestead students. Homestead looks forward to welcoming the incoming students as they look ahead to their freshman year! Please enter through the new Door 1.
