tHE SPARTANA IS now DIGITAL
The Spartana is Homestead's magazine publication. Due to changes in state funding laws, Indiana schools are no longer allowed to assign student fees. Unfortunately, this leaves The Spartana without a budget to print copies of the publication. Starting in September 2023, all new editions of The Spartana will be online both in our monthly newsletter, on Homestead's main website, on HHS In Depth, and on Canvas announcements. The Spartana is not just a publication for the students, but for parents and teachers as well!
The January issue will be coming out soon.
Do you want to be a published writer or artist?
This February, The Spartana is publishing its first literary magazine, a publication focused on the creative work of Homestead students. This includes any form of writing or artwork a student creates. If you are interested in publishing a piece of literary or artistic work, please contact hannah.zandarski@students.sacs.k12.in.us or keep your eyes peeled for an email with a google form for submission. The cut-off for applications is February 18th. We appreciate your consideration and hope to see your piece in February's edition. Submissions will be reviewed by the Spartana editors and staff for publication
