The Point 91.1 FM - Where Music is the Point

Formed in 1993, WCYT-FM went on the air in 1995 and has been a steady presence on Fort Wayne's airwaves ever since.

Students maintain DJ shifts during the day and host their own radio shows after school each weekday.

The Point is also home to Homestead Spartan Athletics and helps aspiring sports broadcasters learn the basic skills of calling game.

Online Radio Station

Formed in 2019 and "on the air" online in 2020, Homestead's WCYT HD 2.0 online radio station made Homestead the first high school in the nation to have both an FM radio station and a whole other station dedicated to be active online only.

The sky is the limit for the future of this radio station, but it gives the opportunity to get more students trained for on-air roles as well as air more non-typical radio programming, such as podcasts, dramas and in-depth stories.
