Homestead High School has two radio stations hosted inside the building that students get to be on each school day.
Students at Homestead High School enrolled in any of the Homestead Media courses get the opportunity to learn and perform skills of live radio in an extraordinary way, doing it on real radio stations.
The Point 91.1 FM is broadcasted live every day to the city of Fort Wayne and surrounding counties.
In 2020, Homestead became the first school in the nation to have both a real FM radio station and a whole separate station dedicated to the digital online platform, named WCYT HD 2.0.
Students get to hone their speaking skills every day on the air during school or even after school on their own radio show.
Homestead High School has been named the state of Indiana's "Radio School of the Year" three of the last four years.
