Day 2: Riders head to Indian Valley and meet up with the old GRR Route. Riding up to Antelope Lake and over Janesville grade to Susanville. From there, riders pick up the Bizz Johnson Rail to Trail and then Feather River Highway, Circling back to Lake Almanor and through Greenville, riders will return to Quincy.
Day 3: Riders depart Quincy for a loop around the Sierra Valley crossing Gold Lakes Road (the high point of the ride) at the start, and visit both Lake Davis and Frenchman's Lake before returning to Quincy.

For those of you who may have bailed for some reason on the 1200k or 1000k, but still want some credit for all of your work and riding, we're holding a Day 4 permanent from Quincy back to Davis on Saturday, September 6th. Call it the Silver Lining perm back home!
The ride will is the same as Day 4 of the 1200k.
Permament: 5602.
1200k/1000k Day 2: You will experience ~20 miles of gravel. The Bizz Johnson Rail Trail starts out of Susanville and runs along the Susan River. You will pass through 2 tunnels (dark, could be wet, but short), but generally, the route is a gentle 3% grade with wide gravel surfaces. The trail should be dry and packed in September. Find out more information on the Bizz Johnson.
TIRE CHOICE: You can survive on 28s, but 32s or wider will be better.
We have two gravel permanents on Day's 2 & 3 for those who come up and volunteer, or for those who bail on the 1200k or 1000k. These are on the Gravel page, and we think they'll add a bit of fun to the whole week up in Quincy.
