The Mobius Strip is also called the twisted cylinder. The first one-sided surface bearing its name was created by mobius. Mobius strip was named after the astronomer and mathematician August Ferdinand Mobius (1790-1868). He came up with his ‘strip’ in September 1858.
Mobius Band is a looped surface with only one side and only one edge!!! Cutting along the center line of the loop creates one longer band, not two!!!
