Xello Student Set Up

• Xello is a career & college exploration site utilized by schools.

• Please have students enter Xello clicking on the following link (be sure they are logged into their school google account first) : Student Sign in - Xello 

Contributing to My Senior Portfolio

• Every year, students will be collecting and housing Work Artifacts in their Senior Portfolio Class Folder in their Google Drive in preparation for their Senior Portfolio, which is required for Graduation.

• The Senior Portfolio is showcase of you as a student.  It will demonstrate your strengths, interests, future career plans, and samples of work you have completed here at school!

• Please review: Senior Portfolio Requirement

• Please review with the students how to create a Google Folder in their Drive

  1. 1. 1. 1. 1. 1. 1. Go to your Drive, Select "New", then Folder

                    2. Name the Folder - "Senior Academic & Career Planning Portfolio - STUDENT NAME" (ie. Senior Academic & Career Planning Portfolio - Mitch Heinemeyer)

                    3. Inside that folder, create 4 Folders. Name them: (1)Resume, (2)Letter of Recommendation, (3)Final Reflection Paper, (4) Student Artifacts

• Each semester, students will be expected to place two Work Artifacts into their Portfolio Folder.

• Work Artifacts can include:
  Anything from High School that led you to what you are planning to do after graduation (Examples: Papers, Pictures of Projects, Conversations with Teachers or Parents, Field Trips, a Certain Class you took and why it was important to you, etc.)
