Rotary Club U-Start Bursary

The Rotary Club of Cochrane is a generous annual supporter of youth through many programs - Youth Exchange (ages 15-18) , Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA, ages 15-18), Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment (RYPEN, ages 13-17), Adventures in Citizenship (Grade 11and 12), the Cochrane Rotary Youth Talent Festival as well as several Scholarships. Rotary seeks to “make another difference” by kick starting a student into post-secondary education. Rotary recognizes that the first year can be a high financial hurdle that some students may find as a barrier. To help, this bursary is to aide a student graduating from Cochrane who may be unable to finance attendance at a post-secondary institution in Canada.
