Italian III Honors is an intermediate level course where students are expected to understand and be assessed at a rigorous level in the following areas: reading, writing, speaking, and listening comprehension. In this course, students will study more complex language structures to expand their ability to communicate effectively in real world situations within the three modes of communication (Interpretive, Interpersonal, and Presentational). Additionally, students will continue to develop their cultural awareness and global mindset through the study of cultural topics that include mass media, advanced weather, camping and beach vacations, home life, and geographical terms. Upon successful completion of this course, students will attain an ACTFL proficiency level of intermediate mid.
