Terry Long is well known throughout the Alabama Wrestling Community.  He wrestled at McAdory High school and was a State Runner up three times.  He spent time wrestling at Marion Military Institute in college and also for the club team at Auburn. 

Terry has served as a certified AHSAA & GHSA Wrestling official for many years.  He was also an assistant coach for several years at McAdory High School and helped lead them to the AHSAA 6A Traditional State Team Title in 2019.  He was first hired as the Assistant Wrestling Coach for Russell County in Fall 2019. He later went to Chattahoochee County and served for several years as the head coach.

Terry comes back to Russell County to serve our students at the Warrior Leadership  School and as our assistant wrestling coach.  He is certified in social studies.
