2025 - 26 Season Information Review

-Find and USE Russell County Wrestling Website - https://sites.google.com/russellcsd.net/wrestling-rchs

-SCHEDULE   -Schedule can be found on website and will change.  Be prepared for times and dates to change and events possibly be canceled

-MUST purchase Uniform on Team Store that will Open Late September and close Early October.  Cost for required uniform is about $200

-Everyone will be responsible to maintain and wash their own uniform

-Everyone MUST purchase a pair of wrestling shoes of their liking (Dicks, Academy, Hibbits, or Amazon)

-Need a Headgear and if you have braces MUST have a double mouthguard

-Everyone MUST update www.dragonflymax.com and ensure their student athlete has an account attached to Russell County High School Varsity Wrestling or Russell County Middle School Wrestling (Instructions on Website)

-EVERYONE MUST have an Alabama Physical Form uploaded on www.Dragonflymax.com signed by a Doctor or MD and cleared to participate in athletics (form can be found on our Website and printed off)

-Fees - $150 for varsity (all 9TH - 12TH Grade Boys and ALL GIRLS) $100 for Middle School BOYS (7TH - 8TH Grade BOYS)

-Must MaIntain Grades

-PRACTICE will begin Mon October 20.  Must have running shoes and work out clothes.  Athletes MUST shower daily after practice to prevent skin infections and wash all their clothes and have clean clothes to work out in every day.  Spray Shoes with Sanitizing Spray often.  Practices will be AFTER school from 4-6 pm once the season starts

-Fundraiser events - We will have several fundraising events to be announced!

-We have Home tournaments and several Home meets.  We will need parents to volunteer and work concessions and help clean up.  All parents that volunteer will have free access to the home meets and events. 

-We will have the Hydration Test Sat October 18TH at Auburn JR High. All varsity wrestlers (girls and boys) and any 9th Grade or above MUST get a hydration Test.  Bring CASH ONLY to pay Encore Rehabilitation Athletes will not be able to participate in any varsity event without getting a hydration test

-I will communicate via Google Classroom, Email, Group Me, and Facebook.  Please be aware if you want emails, your child must include your email in the Google Classroom.
