Objective: Using Google Maps and Google Slides Presentation students will explore a map of the world and locate key landmarks using Latitude and Longitude Coordinates
Create a new "Slides" presentation on Classroom.
Now open Google Maps
Assignment: You are going to type in a group of coordinates in Google Maps and you are going to see where these coordinates take you.
Then you will do the following:
a. In Presentation you will add a slide for every coordinate and you must include
1. The Coordinate
2. The Name of the Landmark where the Coordinates take you
3. Include an image of the landmark
4. Name the Continent in which the location is located.
Make sure to turn off all layers before you searching, then once you reach your location turn on Locations layers to see where you are.
Type in the following coordinates in the search box . Make sure to type it in the way you see it. (hint: Copy & paste)
