Objective: Students will organize, create and be able to interpret data from a Spreadsheet and Graph about the admission price to various amusement parks.
Step 1:
Create a new "Sheets"
In A1 type "Price of Admission"
Then in cell A3 type "Amusement Park"
In cell A4 to A8 type the names of the following amusement parks: (Use these links to find the Price of Admission. Use Single Day Pass Prices)
Step 2:
In Cell B3 type "Single Ticket Price"
In Cell C3 type "Family of 4"
In Cell D3 type "Total Price"
Step 3:
READ CAREFULLY: In D4 to D8 cells use the multiplication function to figure out how much it would cost a family of 4 to enter the park. (Select cell D4 and type =b4*c4)
ON THIS FORMULA YOU MUST TYPE EXACTLY =b4*c4 THAT INCLUDES THE EQUAL SIGN =
Then AUTO fill to D8
Step 4: Create the chart
For this assignment you will need to select two (2) ranges.
Select range A3:A8
Hold down the "Ctrl" button on the keyboard
Select range D3:D8 (make sure to hold the "Ctrl" button while selecting this range)
Select the "insert chart" icon from the menu bar.
