PHYSICAL EDUCATION UNIFORM POLICY
Grades 7-12
All students enrolled in a Physical Education class are required to dress out daily. Physical Education is a performance based class. In order to participate, students must dress out in a teacher approved physical education uniform. If a student forgets his/her uniform, P.E. loaner clothes are available from their teacher.
Every day: Students are expected to wear a plain grey shirt and black shorts without pockets. Shirts are to be tucked in at all times and shorts are to be worn around the waist and above the knees. Additionally students are required to wear athletic shoes with laces that are tied at all times.
Cold days: Students are allowed to wear a plain gray sweat top and/or black sweat pants without pockets and MUST be worn over pe shirt and shorts. Students are not permitted to wear sweatshirts with hoods, zippers, or pockets.
Jewelry: Cannot be worn out to PE. Students are not allowed to wear jewelry of any kind to promote the safety and well being of all class participants.
Parent Note Policy
A parent/guardian note regarding illness or injury is good for up to three days. A doctor's note is required after the third day or the student will be asked to fully participate in the class. All notes M​UST contain the student's name, reason for excuse, date, phone number, and a parent/guardian signature. Student is still expected to dress out for PE even though they have a note unless physically unable.
