Academy 2023–2024 Bell Schedule

NOTE: The school will be open at 8:00 am for students to head to their homeroom/TA.

Supplies & Fees

To assist with student-specific organizational strategies, we have a supply and yearbook fee of $80. Students do not need to bring school supplies as most supplies are provided on the first day of school. A nominal supplies fee will be added to your PowerSchool account at the start of the new school year.  

Headphones for audio use should be brought in by the students —some parents consider noise-cancelling ones as they have found they can help with classroom distractions. 

Students will receive their yearbooks in the fall of the following school year.

Transportation

Our transportation service is provided by Southland Transportation. Rundle provides service across the four quadrants of Calgary, however no outside city service. We provide the following:

• AM and PM bus service | $4300

• AM only bus service | $2585

• PM only bus service | $2585

When will schedules be available?
Your schedule should have been posted on PowerSchool this summer if you are in senior high. All junior high and elementary students will receive their schedules and homeroom teachers on the first day of school.

What athletics and clubs will be offered?

Please note that we will be starting our co-curricular offerings very early in the school year. Even if you have never played these fall sports before or tried some of our club options, we encourage you to give them a try.

Clubs that start early fall include:

• Art Club

• Maker Club

Sport teams starting in the fall include:

• Volleyball (junior and senior high)

• Cross Country Running

• Football (senior high)

• Golf

Orientation Camps

We focus on building community and togetherness at Rundle Academy and we begin the school year with overnight orientation camps. These fun out-of-town trips are a big part of the opening weeks of school. All camps will be held the week of September 11, with the exception of the grade 10 camp which will be held in October.

More details for each orientation camp will be sent to you directly from the school.

Our school uniforms continue to be supplied by Top Marks and they are ready to support you during your selection process. 

We have built a comprehensive Rundle Uniform Expectations & Frequency of Wear guide to assist you with the specific requirements for all grades and school programs.

• The uniform online store is available at topmarks.ca.

• Order by June 15, 2023, to guarantee delivery prior to the start of school.

Rundle Summit Store

• The Rundle Summit Store is an online store that carries branded spiritwear and merchandise that can be worn on spiritwear and dress-down days. 

• The online store is available at Rundle Summit Store. Our back-to-school store will open from June 2–11.

• Shipping is delivered by Canada Post directly to your home or office.

• Each order will be charged a $10 shipping fee.

House Shirts & Buffs 

• House shirts and buffs will be provided for all new students and staff at their school’s first house event in fall 2023.

• If returning students or staff need to replace their shirt or buff, please contact your school’s main office for purchase.

• Did you know Rundle provides students with free access to hundreds of e-books and audiobooks on different subjects and reading levels using our Digital Library? Students are able to access the site using their Rundle log-in information from school or home using their laptop or iPad.
