The Grade 3 SAGE Garden lessons invite students to investigate how living and nonliving parts of the garden work together. Through hands-on activities, students explore insects, test soil, study plant growth and water movement, and practice sustainable techniques such as hügelkultur and companion planting. The lessons strengthen scientific observation, experimentation, problem-solving, and environmental stewardship.
