We welcome original papers on research in all areas of multilingualism and the acquisition or use of three or more languages. The language of the conference will be predominantly English, but contributions in other languages will also be considered (as long as the English translation is also provided).

The call for papers opened on November 10, 2023, and closes on January 10, 2024.

Types of presentations

We welcome abstracts in three categories: individual papers in parallel sessions, posters, and doctoral student workshop.

Individual papers will be allotted 30 minutes: 20 minutes for the presentation and 10 minutes for questions and discussion.

Posters will be displayed during designated poster sessions.

The doctoral student workshop is intended to serve as a platform for discussions of ongoing PhD research, and for obtaining feedback from senior researchers (discussants) and other scholars. Doctoral student papers will be assigned 30 minutes: 15 minutes for the presentation and 15 minutes for the discussion. Doctoral students whose proposals are accepted are required to send their abstracts, presentation, and specific questions to the discussant before the conference (deadline tba). The doctoral workshop will take place on August 28 in the afternoon.
