Welcome to our small experiment!

Both research and education are all about making small experiments to help us learn what works best. You cannot change many variables at once and find out what had the effect; you must keep it simple, patiently test different options, and find out what is most effective for you and your students. Small changes implemented consistently and strategically can result in bigger results over time! This podcast is OUR small experiment to see if it is a useful way of making connections between instructors at the University of Groningen to share best practices and learn from/with each other, especially during our current COVID-19 situation.

Educational Support and Innovation (ESI) is the central instructional support team for all educators at the University of Groningen. To find out more about the services and resources we have made available during this interesting time in the world, and in academic education, please visit: https://edusupport.rug.nl/

If you are, or know of, a RUG instructor who would like to share about the positive results of small experiments they have been trying, especially for online and hybrid teaching, please send a message to t.a.poelzer@rug.nl and you may be contacted to be interviewed for a future episode!
