Final 2D Reflection

My favorite assignment would probably have to be the beautiful oops. The requirements for this project where to get a piece of paper that had ink splattered on it and then try to see something that you can transfer your ink splatter into. In my ink, i saw the eyes of a fish. So i went on a developed a piece of art that consisted of a northern pike around my ink splatter. I liked this project because it allowed me to draw a fish. One of my favorite things to draw. It wasn't my best piece of art. But i still enjoyed it.

The problem that i probably struggled with the most was my self portrait project. I have never been the best artist when it comes to drawing people, so i did not go into the project with my full confidence. Some things that i struggled with in this project was the shading. In the project we were required to set the image with only are signature. I messed up by drawing the picture and then going back and trying to incorporate my initials into the piece.

I learned a lot of valuable things over the span of this class. Some of the more important things that I learned were how to use the grid technique, how to shade better and how to blow up an image and just focus purely on one part of the picture.

I feel like in the beginning of this class i was a weeker artist, but if you look at my artwork, you can see that my skills have improved over the span of the class. Even with techniques that i have never used before, i could tell that by the end of the class i am better in many areas.

So overall by taking this class i have noticed that there are many things that i can improve on. But also my taking this class, i have become a more talented artist and i am glad i took this class.
