Historical Coil Project

For this assignment we were expected to find a Historical Pot and try to replicate it as best as possible. I found this type of pot extremely unusual and good looking. there is not one specific artist that I was going off of. this type of pot would commonly be given to a new married couple hundreds of years ago. the two stems that protrude from the sphere resemble two people coming together as one. There were many other styles of this pot, but I liked this basic one.
