Artist's Resume

Six years ago, I moved from China. With no experiences of speaking English, and then started my life of surviving in the brand new country. Two years after, I fell in love of drawing, and creating new art works. My passion for art is also increasing through years, and recently, I have starting to explore different cultures from different countries. Such as the nation's religion practices, celebration of festivals, and the traditional method of making clothings. To better experiences the traditional culture, I decided to go back to China and willing to spend three months to take a semester of Su Xiu (苏绣) embroidery class in Suzhou.

I have been focusing on developing styles throughout the senior year, and I have experienced markers, graphites, and color pencils for a long time. So I also used some new materials like oil paint sticks, charcoals, and ink/watercolors for challenges. For me, I just like to learn different techniques and explore different ways to create art; and I will continuing my research through my entire life.
