Tiles Project

Work in Progress:

1. Came up with three designs for the tile, and then pick one to draw an enlarged version.

2. Print out four copies of the the enlarged design, and collaged them together as a panel to see the effect.

3. I made three slabs to made the first tile that was going to be use for making the plaster model. When the tile is finished, Mr. A helped me to mix the plaster and make the model. And when the plaster dries, I just filled out the model with clay, and wait for 15-20 minutes for the tile to dry, then I removed the tile from the plaster model. After that, I repeated the process three times to make the other three tiles.

4. After bisque fired, I painted the tiles with PC20, PC12, and PC59. When the tiles are already painted, then they are ready to be glaze fire. The area that I painted with PC 12 did not show up the color after bisque fire, instead it looked yellowish, but it went well with the red. So I am happy about it.
