If you’re not sure what you need–whether it’s learning support, career or college guidance, resources, or workforce help– we’re here to figure it out together. Our goal is to serve every adult in our community.
Schedule an A.R.R.O.W. Advising, Resource, Referral, and Opportunity Workshop. During this session, we’ll talk about your goals and next steps. Together, we’ll determine whether one of our Adult Education programs is right for you, connect you with a training or college partner, or refer you to local support services to help meet your immediate needs.
There are two ways to get in contact with us. When you call or email please provide your name, age, your contact information, the program you are intersted in enrolling in and how long you have been out of school.

If you are a current high school student, or the parent of a current high school student, you must talk to the high school guidance counselor & principal to make sure adult education is the most appropriate fit. Must be 17 years old to enroll [limited approvals for 16 year olds]. Withdrawal from the High School is required to enroll in Adult Education.
Once we’ve determined that an academic program is the right fit for you, we’ll schedule a Intake & Assessment appointment. This session lasts about 2–3 hours and includes completing onboarding paperwork, learning about the program, and taking the two required assessments: CASAS Reading and CASAS Math. These multiple-choice assessments simply help your teacher understand where to begin instruction.
If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must attend.
It’s best to bring your Social Security Number (SSN) and photo ID to this appointment. If you don’t have them, don’t worry—they aren’t required to enroll. However, a valid photo ID is required to take the official HiSET® test.
After your Intake & Assessment appointment you will be scheduled for a meeting with the Director of Adult Education. This meeting is 1 hour and focuses on mapping your educational journey with adult education. In this meeting you will discuss your schedule, get access to the online learning platform, and talk about your learning pathway, and goals.
It's best practice to bring your laptop (if you have one), and the materials you will use for class. If you do not have these materials, we will put together your "backpack" at this appointment.
