Banana Oxidation Art

Students learned about the science behind oxidation and why banana peels turn brown. They harnessed science and used it to their advantage to create unique works of art. The banana was the sculptural canvas upon which they created a pointillism drawing utilizing the banana form as part of their sculpture creation.
