Emoji Designs by Olivia Hashey

Students were asked to research the history of Emoji (1990's) and compare them to Ancient Egyptian Heiroglyphics. They also watched an interview with O'Pleuro Grebet, an emoji designer from West Africa, and learned how he is using his emoji designs to preserve aspects of traditional African Culture including traditional masks and fashion.
