Understanding how to capture light and shadow is one of the most important aspects in black and white photography. Student learned how to use their understanding of light, shadow, and form to compose well thought out photographs that focus on the use of artificial lighting, quality craftsmanship, artistic choice, and personal voice to create abstract compositions that celebrate black and white photography.
