In this design challenge, learners will explore the difference between creativity and innovation, and then innovate a face mask design to better suit the needs of a user. This Challenge is not about making a pretty mask, it is about designing so that the form and function work better for a user. Learners will pitch innovations to their user and also create a 2 minute pitch commercial. The focus of this challenge is to refresh our minds on the meaning and use of design thinking and challenge based learning. The rubrics used for this challenge will be oral communication, collaboration, creativity, agency and critical thinking.

Constraint: You cannot use a school provided or a store bought mask, you must innovate one from scratch, use the materials in the kit or use resources you have access to.
