Sudbury Secondary School has the longest tradition, and yet it offers the newest, state-of-the-art facilities and the most comprehensive music program in the Sudbury area. Sudbury Secondary offers a full range of music courses from Grade 9 to Grade 12. Our program has one of the most diverse high school music departments. Music courses for beginner to more advanced instrumentalists are available.

Students in instrumental music can major on any of the following instruments:

Flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, french horn, trombone, euphonium, baritone, tuba, electric/ string bass, or percussion.

As an instrumental music major, you are able to play in one of our award winning bands. Our award winning bands compete internationally, locally, and perform at various concerts and events throughout the year. We offer opportunities to perform with the Concert Band, Jazz Ensemble, and Guitar Ensemble.
