Hi students and parents! My name is Terri Blough and I am an intervention specialist teacher. I will be co-teaching with Mrs. Hudson and this is our 7th year teaching together. I have been teaching in the Rocky River School District for 23 years. My first 15 years I taught at Goldwood Primary School, mainly in second grade and now I am entering my 13th year at Kensington. I attended Capital University in Bexley, Ohio and earned a degree in general education grades 1st-8th, special education grades K-12, and reading endorsement for grades K-12th. I also earned my master’s degree in school counseling at Cleveland State University.
I have lived in Rocky River for 12 years. I am married to my husband Bill Blough and we have two amazing children, Will who is 18 and Ella who is 14 years old. Will is a senior at the Rocky River High School and Ella is an 8th grader at Rocky River Middle School. We have a cat named Tippy and a cavapoo puppy named Bear, who bring our family a great deal of joy!
I am a 4th generation teacher and education has been a part of my life since I was a child. I am very passionate about this profession and I absolutely love working with children. I feel very fortunate to be one of your child’s teachers this school year and am so excited to meet you all. So here is to an amazing, fun-filled year of learning, laughing, and making great memories together!
