Hi Parents and Students! My name is Terri Blough, and I am a 3rd grade intervention specialist teacher at Kensington Elementary School. I have been teaching for 31 years, with the majority of my career spent in the Rocky River School System. I began my career teaching at Goldwood Primary School, and I am excited to be starting my 15th year at Kensington!
I attended Capital University in Bexley, Ohio, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in General Education for grades 1–8. I also hold a teaching license in Special Education and a Reading Endorsement for grades K–12. In addition, I earned my master’s degree in School Counseling from Cleveland State University.
I have lived in Rocky River for the past 14 years and truly love this vibrant community. My husband, Bill, and I have two amazing children. Will, 20, is a sophomore at The Ohio State University, where he is studying finance. Ella, 16, is a sophomore at Rocky River High School and is currently on the JV volleyball team.
I am a fourth-generation teacher, so education has been a part of my life since I was a child. I am truly passionate about this profession and absolutely love working with children. I feel very fortunate to be one of your child’s teachers this school year, and I am so excited to get to know you and your family!
