To be completed within 90 days of employment
This Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches us to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help infants and children up to 12 years of age. RPA staff completes training in a hybrid model together, every 2 years. (Hybrid meaning we do the online simulation and a short, in person skill demonstration) This is a skill demonstration year. If you would like to get certified so that you can continue your certification process at RPA every 2 years, you should renew this year. We have a teacher on staff that is certified to facilitate the skill demonstration. If you have questions on whether or not you should complete this again, let us know.
