A kid-friendly chart for talking about bullying behavior. This chart does not reflect the NJ description of a distinguishing characteristic.
As the Anti-bullying Specialist (ABS) it is my goal to educate our students, parents and staff how to recognize, prevent and respond to bullying behavior. At the elementary level, we focus largely on how to tell the difference between bullying and conflict. I hope to provide a culture where kids feel safe and supported while allowing them to feel that mistakes are made for learning from them- not to be punished for them.
Here is the link to the district page detailing important information for parents and district updates. If you have any questions or concerns related to this process, please feel free to contact me at any time. Additionally, you may contact Dr. Charles Seipp, the district Anti-Bullying Coordinator at 973-584-6099 if you feel your concerns are not being addressed.
