Pull Out Instrument Lessons
Instrument lessons are part of their band and orchestra grade. Each student will be given a lesson group which consists of the same instruments and are small-group sizes to foster the individual attention needed for learning an instrument. Lesson groups can range from 4-8 students that meet once a week for one 36-minute period outside of their LAP period. The lesson will meet on a rotating lesson schedule, which means they do not miss the same class each week for their lesson. This small-group lesson aims to focus on instrument specific exercises to improve the musicians playing quality, foster good playing habits, and learn to read music notation.
