North Carolina Virtual Public School (NCVPS)

NORTH CAROLINA VIRTUAL PUBLIC SCHOOL provides students access to a wide variety of courses taught by NC certified instructors. All NCVPS courses will meet the curriculum content standards that are set forth by the Department of Public Instruction and will meet the recognized quality assurance standards for e-learning courses. The grades earned in their NCVPS course are recorded on their RCS academic record. Students taking an online course will be assigned one of their six daily class periods to be in a designated area at RCS in which they will work on their online course.

*Please note: Per school policy, students will not be permitted to enroll in NVCPS classes that are taught at RCS, unless approved by administration.

North Carolina School of Science and Math

NORTH CAROLINA SCHOOL OF SCIENCE AND MATH - NCSSM Online, begun in 2008, provides valuable preparation for college along with a learning community of accomplished, motivated peers. If you're an eligible applicant, you may apply to NCSSM's residential and online program using one electronic application. There is no cost to apply and no tuition for either program.
