The Interprofessional Grand Rounds at Rowan SOM is an initiative with Dean Cavalieri and the Department of Academic Affairs that highlights the benefit to patients when health care professionals work together as a team. The participants will be comprised of different healthcare professionals (physicians, dietitians, registered nurses, doulas, etc) and they will discuss a prepared case of a black mother going through the peripartum period and postpartum period and how to decrease her risk of maternal mortality.
