ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Since 2004, the Armadillo Readers’ Choice Award has been a program for K-2 students in Round Rock ISD. Ten outstanding picture books are nominated by district librarians,who create engaging lessons to accompany the books
Each Spring, K-2 students vote for their favorite Armadillo book. Votes are tallied across the district and the winning author is presented with the Armadillo Readers' Choice Award! Approximately 10,000 K-2 students participate in the Armadillo program each year.
