Volunteers

The volunteer opportunities we have include:

• Shelving library books (AM on Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday)

• Helping with checkouts (PM on Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday)

• Book Fair: This year's book fair volunteer opportunities will be: 

  • Fall:  Setup (Oct. 8th, PM); PTA Movie Night (Oct. 8th); sales (Oct. 12th-16th); pack up (Oct. 16th PM)

  • Spring: Setup (Feb. 25th, PM); Preview (Feb. 26th); sales (Mar. 1st-5th); pack up (Mar. 5th PM)

Here are the steps to becoming a Library Volunteer: 

1. You need to be approved through RRISD. Please complete the Volunteer Application.

2. Once approved by RRISD:

   • Information & Sign-ups will be posted here.

   • Library Volunteer Sign-Up (September-December)
