Volunteers

The volunteer opportunities we have include:

• Shelving library books (AM on Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday)

• Helping with kindergarten & 3rd grade checkouts (1:40-2:30 Tuesday-Thursday)

• Book Fair: This year's book fair volunteer opportunities will be: 

  • Fall:  Setup (Oct. 9th, PM); Preview (Oct. 10th); sales (Oct. 13th-17th); pack up (Oct. 17th PM)

  • Spring: Setup (Feb. 26th, PM); Preview (Feb. 27th); sales (Mar. 2nd-6th); pack up (Mar. 6th PM)

Here are the steps to becoming a Library Volunteer: 

1. You need to be approved through RRISD. Please complete the Volunteer Application.

2. Once approved by RRISD:

   • if you are NEW to volunteering in the library, please view the slideshow below before volunteering.
