Assignments and Grading Policy at Purple Sage Elementary Grades 3-5

Classwork/Daily Grades 70%

Assessments 30%

Students are given due dates for each assignment that is due.

From the day the assignment is due, students have up to two school days to turn in the assignment for full credit.  After those two days, students get 3 more days (a full week after the due date) to earn up to a 70.  After one week, assignments will not be accepted for credit.

If a student earns below a 70 on an assignment, they have 5 school days to turn in corrections to earn up to a 70. After 5 school days if corrections are not made their grade remains.

If a student is absent they have 1 school days for each missed day to make up work for full credit.

EX: Absent 1 day = get 1 days to make up work

Absent 2 days = get 2 days to make up work

Please note that grades are on Home Access and can be accessed at any time. See the registrar for help in accessing Home Access.
