Resources and Ideas for Kindergarten Intervention Students in Reading and Math @ Home Learning.

Reading:

  • Practice identifying the letters in the alphabet (say each of their names and the sounds they make), review sounds and letter names on Starfall
  • If you have magnetic letters try to put the letters in ABC order (or use a magnetic letter app)
  • Sort magnetic letters in different ways (letters with long sticks and curves, vowels and consonants, etc.)- How many ways can you sort them? Take a picture and send it to me
  • Read on Razkids to find books on a beginning reading level
  • Listen to reading using the library resource page
  • Watch some alphabet and phonics videos
