First Grade Lesson 58 (Week 3)

Reading:

  • Intervention students should be reading a minimum of 20 minutes a day during the week. You may use the library page for online books, read books from your at home library or log on to Razkids.
  • Document your experiences through a daily journal (write for at least 5 minutes everyday). Here is a template to help you get started (make a copy to type in the template).
  • Watch the video and make words. Sort the words on SeeSaw.
  • Practice phonics skills, review blending different sounds and spelling patterns on Starfall

Math:

  • Practice identifying numbers on the 100 chart (Print out the 100 chart below)
    • Adults say the number and students find and point to: 32, 13, 27, 94, 87, 78, 21, 12, 64, 59, 70, 4, 16
    • Choose a number from the 100 chart and make the number using the tens and ones blocks from this manipulatives app
    • Look at the tens and ones pictures below. Tell the number and find the number on the hundreds chart.
  • Dreambox- Online math resource (After you are logged on, please don't get help from others with the math...answer the questions yourself so the computer knows exactly what you know or don't know)
  • Use some of the resources below to play math games that practice addition and subtraction skills
