Help! I Can't Log in!
Staff members use their e-numbers with the "e" for both the user and the password to log in to MackinVia and our library catalog.
Example: User: e111222 PW: e111222
Students use their s-numbers without the "s" for both the user and the password to log in to MackinVia and our library catalog.
Example: User: 333444 PW: 333444
If you tried logging in and you . . .
1) didn't accidentally use a gmail password for the password
2) did use the "e" / didn't use the "s" - either time
3) are sure you / the student typed correctly,
please contact the library to check the status of your account. Established accounts should not have a problem, but newer accounts may not be set up yet, or there may be issues with double accounts (for example, if a student moved out of district and returned). Let us know so we can get you connected!
How do I log in to the research databases from home?
You can access most of these resources from ClassLink under "Library Resources."
If you log in from school you will automatically be connected.
From home, you can sign in to MackinVia using your e-number with the e for both the user name and password, and click on the database you want to use within MackinVia.
Otherwise, look for the gold padlock on the JLJ Research page, and sign in to gmail there. This will let you view user names and passwords for each database subscription our district has purchased.
