UPDATE (as of 9/11/25): Students, I am unfortunately currently FULL for the Oct 15 deadline. If you need a letter for Nov or later, I may be able to accommodate you! Please see me.
If you are in need of a recommendation letter for college admission, scholarships, or summer programs, here is what I need from you:
1. I need YOU personally to speak to me to request a letter. A face-to-face request in person is best, but an e-mail request is also acceptable. This is a life skill you are practicing and developing that you’ll carry to college and beyond into the workforce, and so it needs to be done by the person requesting the letter (i.e., not by your parents). After we have spoken, I need the completed form referenced in #4 below.
2. If it is Common App, ApplyTexas, etc. (online submission), list my name and e-mail address in their system and it will ping me a link to submit the letter.
3. As soon as I receive the above materials from you, I will add your name to the queue to write your letter! Please be aware that during the high volume times (fall college applications, etc.), the list gets longer and it may take more than two weeks to have your letter written. Please plan ahead. The sooner you send me the above materials, the higher up on the list you’ll be! I do not have a set number of letters I write, but there will be a point when I can no longer accept requests due to upcoming due dates and the number of letters I have due at a particular time.
4. Here is the form to complete!
