Ms. Knox has been teaching for over 20 years, the last 13 in RRISD. She worked as an elementary specialist at Live Oak Elementary for 9 years before becoming the Grisham ITS for the last 3 years. She is excited to return to music in RRISD and to be back in the McNeil VLC. In addition to teaching, she also leads the Premiere Choir of the Grammy Award winning National Children's Chorus Austin Division and performs regularly with local and regional theatre groups and choirs. Ms. Knox is cerified in both Orff-Schulwerk and Kodály.

Ms. Granados was born and raised in Round Rock, Texas. She earned her associate's degree from Temple College and went on to receive her bachelor's degree in Music Education from Texas State University. She is excited to be returning to Deerpark for her second year of teaching and is looking forward to another amazing school year!
Music has always been a significant part of Ms. Granados’s life. She discovered her passion for teaching during middle school and has been inspired ever since by the support and guidance of her own directors. She hopes to be that same positive influence for her students.
