About Ms. Calderone

This will be my second year teaching fifth grade at Cactus Ranch and I could not be more excited! I was a Longhorn Kindergarten through 5th grade (see my first day of kinder pic below) and am so lucky to be back at the Ranch as a teacher.

I was born in Washington D.C., but spent most of my life in Round Rock. I moved back to the Austin area after graduating from Texas State with a bachelors in Psychology (eat 'em up cats!) and getting my teaching certification from Texas Teachers of Tomorrow. I have two cats named Josie and Spencer Reid that you will hear lots about this year. They are NUTS! 

When I am not in the classroom I enjoy drinking too much coffee, reading horror books, hiking, and playing with my crazy kitties.
