Welcome to First Grade! I am thrilled to be your teacher.
I am excited to be a Longhorn!
I graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso. I have been teaching in Round Rock for 26 years. I have taught over half my life in this community. I am invested!
My husband James and I have a son named Jack. He is 15 years old. He is in 10th grade. We also have an 10 year old daughter named Grey. She is starting 5th grade this year at Cactus. We have a Jack Russell, two Yorkies, a Corgie, and a German Shepherd mix. We really are a zoo! My kids keep me busy, but when I do have free time...I enjoy traveling, live music, cooking, reading, and working out.

Welcome to First Grade and the 2025-2026 school year! I am excited and honored to work with you this year.
IMPORTANT DATES:
I will be visiting the home of all my families on Thursday, August 7th between 5-7 pm. I look forward to introducing myself to your family and welcoming your child to a new year.
On Monday, August 11th from 8:00-9:30 AM we will be having our Howdy in the classroom. This is a chance for my students and their families to meet each other and see the classroom. I can't wait to see your smiling faces.
The first day of school is Tuesday, August 12th. Doors open at 7:15am. Parents may walk student to class on the first day. We ask that all 1st graders pack a lunch from home for the first 4 days of school.
Parents, I will be hosting a virtual parent info meeting sometime in late August. Exact day, time and google link coming soon.
