Who are we?
Who are we?
O.S.C.A.R. stands for Outstanding Students Creating Awesome Robots! We are based at Roswell High School in Roswell, Georgia, and are the oldest active FIRST Robotics team in Georgia, starting in 2002. We are also 9-time World Championship Qualifiers!
The FIRST Robotics Competition is an international competition of ~3,000 teams that gives high schoolers the opportunity to gain experience in manufacturing, operating, and programming robots. If you are interested in discussing FIRST topics, check out Chief Delphi here!

Columbus Qualifier
Columbus Qualifier
Our team went to Columbus with our 2026 robot, boxosourus! we had scored enough ranking points to become Alliance captain 2. Our first pick was Team 4026, and our other pick was 3815. Our alliance competed in the playoffs and we fought against alliance 1 for the finals. Ultimately becoming Semi-finalists. Our team also won spirt award from the amount of excitement this competition brought. We are currently ranked #10 in our district.

Dalton Qualifier
We competed the weekend of March 7st in Dalton for our first competition of the 2026 season. We were the first pick for Alliance 6. but in the end we were eliminated in the double Elimination bracket (round 3). This match is only our beginning.

O.S.C.A.R. went to the Georgia Robotics Invitational Tournament Showcase! We took our robot Lobster and had a great time successfully completed all of our qualification matches.
