This week mechanical finished constructing our KitBot and handed it off to electrical and programming to finish the job. We also had our 2024 prom pep rally where we successfully put our T-shirt cannon to good use.

As work continues on the KitBot, our mechanical department has started building our long term bot. Simultaneously, the new members are working with the mentors to build a new chest for our tool case, which will make transporting our supplies much easier.

While our design team is finishing the CAD for our new robot, our mechanical team is working on building prototypes to test out the new designs. Meanwhile, the business department is brainstorming ideas for fundraisers.

Fabrication team has finished fabricating the shooting sled side panels and mechanical is working to assemble them and mount them on the robot. Our programming team is finishing programming the KitBot. 

This week we are testing the code on our new constructed robot so we can be ready for the Dalton competition by Thursday!

Team 832 participated in the Dalton competition that took place from 3/7- 3/9. Oscar and its new bot Platypus made it past qualifiers and into the playoffs where our alliance finished 5th overall.

O.S.C.A.R. went to the Georgia Robotics Invitational Tournament Showcase! We took our robot Platypus and successfully completed all of our qualification matches.
