TRANSPORTATION

Roslyn Public Schools must adhere to the following due to the number of students who are transported each day:

• All individuals on bus MUST wear a face covering at all times.

• Family members will sit together.

• Buses will be loaded back to front.

• Buses will dismiss front to back.

• Markers will be on seats as to where individuals can sit.

• Bus drivers will have clear covering separating him/her from the others.

• Temperatures will be taken before loading the bus.

• Parents must wait with child at bus stop before child is clear to load.

• Information will go out with clear guidelines on how to social distance at bus stops.

• All buses will be fully sanitized with state of the art cleaning machines before they roll in the morning.

• Buses that do multiple routes will be wiped down after they drop off at the school (i.e. Drop Harbor Hill students off. The bus driver then will wipe seats down before doing the Heights or East Hills route).

• Once the bus is back at yard after AM routes the entire fleet will be fully sanitized with state of the art cleaning machines before going out on PM routes.
